Our Vision Together
Young Women Advocacy Network aims to empower the next generation to create meaningful change for women experiencing injustice and violence.
We strive to connect the gap between grassroots activism in Toronto and government action by supporting youth in effective advocacy, building strategic partnerships with established grassroots organizations, and providing direct pathways for youth to influence policy at municipal and provincial levels.

Get to Know Our Work
We empower young people to turn their passion for women’s rights into real advocacy. By connecting youth with policy-makers and experienced organizations, we create clear pathways for meaningful change. Join us to help build a future where all women live free from violence.

The Need We Address
Despite our passion and investment in social justice issues, young people often lack direct ways to influence policy or get involved in real advocacy for women's rights. Traditional advocacy channels can feel inaccessible, and there is still a significant gap between grassroots activism and government engagement. We aim to close this gap.
Our Approach
We believe the most effective advocacy combines fresh perspectives of youth with established credibility of experienced organizations. Our programs creates pathways for young advocates to engage with policy-makers while providing them with the skills, resources, and partnerships needed to be effective.
Together for Change
Whether you are a teenager passionate about women's advocacy, an established organization looking for fresh partnerships, or a policy-maker interested in hearing new perspectives, we invite you to join our movement. Together, we can create the systemic changes needed to ensure all women live free from violence.

Partnerships
We aim to collaborate with established Toronto domestic violence organizations, creating a powerful network that combines grassroots expertise with youth energy. These partnerships provide credibility, resources, and mentorship while ensuring our advocacy efforts align with community needs.

The PPC event brings together youth advocates to compete with innovative policy solutions addressing women's safety and housing security. Winners earn the opportunity to pitch their proposals directly to MPPs, city councillors, and community leaders, turning great ideas into potential legislation. Estimated time: September, 2025
